Snow Boogie Board April 24, 2010 krod (Philadelphia, PA) We had great fun this past winter with all the snow. This sled is durable and arrived on time as expected. I would definitely recommend this product.
wonderful sled for both adult and children March 24, 2010 B. Fan (Boston, MA) sturdy, big and comfortable sled that can fit two adults, or one adult with a child. quality is very good and shipping is fast. my 4 year old had a lot of good time with it.
draggy/slow March 9, 2010 Ron PA You can see in the pics the bottom ridges that curve off to either side with the supposition that if you lean to either side the ridges will steer the sled in that direction; well it doesn't work and all the ridges accomplish is to make the sled very draggy so that moderate slopes that work well for slicker sleds barely get the skeleton moving. I can still steer when on my stomach by jerking the front over in the direction I want but I'll have to reserve this sled for steep slopes and watch the better sleds blow by me - and probably run over me knowing the people I sled with.
It gets three stars for durability though; those overpriced, laminated foam things just wear through or split and the skeleton is one of the few alternatives that will last a few winters.
Great Sled February 27, 2010 jadaki (Eastern KY) I bought this sled and a Paricon Inc. 666 Winter Trek. Don't waste your money on the Paricon sled. This sled however is awesome. It is tough as a pine knot. There are grooves on the bottom that keeps it going in a fairly straight line and is double layered so it cushions the bumps some. My 17 year old son is 5'11" and weighs 240 and sleds like a wild man but this sled takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'. I live in rural Eastern Kentucky and have had several sleds over the years and this is one of if not the best we have ever had.
Sturdy sled. Thick Durable plastic. February 12, 2010 Michele Figueroa (New York, NY) I bought this sled for my 7 year old daughter. It was bigger than I thought it would be which was great. I even was able to fit on the sled with my daughter. Yes it is made of plastic but very sturdy thick plastic. I think it will last for years. Has ingrained snowflake imprints that keeps you from sliding off the sled. 4 very nice size hand grips. My daughter loved it! Very happy with this purchase.
